Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) / Defibrillation (AED)
    Prompt CPR Saves Lives!

CPR is a vital, life-saving skill that can increase the chances of victim survival exponentially. Our CPR courses will address hazard prevention, how to recognize the symptoms of stroke and heart attack, clearing obstructed airways, rescue breathing and external cardiac compression. Each participant is given substantial hands-on practice time using individual CPR manikins. Infant and Child CPR focuses on ages newborn through approximately 8 years old. This course teaches participants how to use a defibrillator, a life-saving technology to recognize and respond to serious cardiac crisis.

    Pediatric Safety
Highly recommended for parents, grandparents and childcare providers, this course trains participants to detect and prevent the numerous – and often overlooked – household and environmental dangers that can befall infants and toddlers. Lectures cover auto, home, animal and neighborhood safety, and feature an evaluation of popular consumer safety devices. Participants receive take-home materials at the conclusion of the course and are encouraged to conduct their own safety analyses at home.

    Babysitting Essentials
The Babysitting Essentials Program is a community education program that covers child safety and basic care techniques for infants and children. This class provides fundamental information for home childcare workers or babysitters. Topics include child safety, play, feeding and emergencies.

    First Aid
Pediatric, adult and First Responder courses are designed to teach participants to treat a variety of illnesses and injuries. Divided into a series of lectures and hands-on practice sessions, these courses cover wounds and fractures, medical emergencies, environmental emergencies and cervical immobilization.
